I first met my friend Geli Mata (Cordero) back in January 2017. Thanks to the power of various recording technologies and Twitter/Facebook, we’ve remained friends, and even battled about a couple of topics online. All in the name of love, though! She’s a “woke” person who once worked for Apple and in other creative capacities, and now she’s studying World War II history, so this conversation is a mix of women’s issues, salary stuff, empathy, Apple, management, jargon, conversations, academia, and whether or not World War III might eventually come down the pike.
